It’s hard to believe Passover is only a month away.
For many of us, the holiday brings back memories of seders past — crowded tables, familiar songs, and the unmistakable rhythm of family tradition. It won’t quite be the same as the seders at my mother’s house. Traditions carry us far, but some things can’t be replaced — like my dads yo-mama jokes, or the chance to deliver my favorite line of the seder: “Lo, the bread of affliction!” (Sadly, that line didn’t make the cut in my sister’s Haggadah.)
Still, that’s the beauty of tradition — it evolves.
This year, a new highlight takes center stage. My grandson will have top billing as he asks the Four Questions, and I have a feeling he’ll bring the house down. New voices, new laughter, new memories — that’s how the story continues.
As we prepare for the holiday, may your table be filled with meaning, warmth, and the people who make it special.
Wishing you and your family a very happy Pesach.
Chag Sameach.
